Transfer Lift for Cars/Vans
The Multi-Lift can be used for almost all cars, trucks, minivans, and full-sized
vans. Installation is available for front door, driver or passenger side for
nearly all types of vehicles, for cargo doors on vans, and even rear door for
certain cars and trucks. The lift can be used either by the user if that person
has sufficient dexterity and strength to operate the lift, or by an assistant.
Transfer Lift for the Home/Bath
The Multi-Lift in the home is used in conjunction with a wall mount or mobile
stand on casters in the home. It is designed for use in many transfer locations
such as bed to wheelchair, wheelchair to sofa, or even where there is a level
change in the floor. In the bathroom, the Multi-Lift is ideal for transferring
to the commode or to transfer in and out of the shower or bath. The U-shaped "Backsaver" sling
means the user does not have to be lifted in order to put the sling on. Its
U-shaped design facilitates use on the commode and in the shower.
Scooter/Wheelchair Lifting Device
The Multi-Lift, with its rugged construction designed for transferring people,
is also ideal for transferring your scooter or other mobility device. This
is accomplished by installing a second mounting bracket in the rear or cargo
door of the vehicle and attaching a special hook or hooks to your mobility
device. Our optional motorized swing-arm will allow the Multi-Lift to work
in the rear or side door of full-sized vans or minivans, and even many cars!
The low cost of adding a second mounting bracket and the high weight capacity
of the Multi-Lift make it an attractive solution to transporting your wheelchair
or scooter.
